Covina is a city located in the San Gabriel Valley, located at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and approximately 20 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles.
Covina was once the center of the Citrus belt in Southern California. For more than 50 years the area cultivated oranges and lemons. The main road in Covina, Citrus Avenue, derives it's name from the large grove of oranges that once covered the area.

So, I recently checked out Campsite Brewing Company in Covina, and it was a blast! This place offers a cozy vibe with 24 brews on tap. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I tried their brat and a burger and it was delicious. What's cool is that they not only have great beer and food, they have live entertainment and a number of outdoor fire pits. I highly recommend it if you're in the area!
