1. Find Your Realtor

Hiring a good real estate is a critical aspect of the home selling process. I recommend working with an agent that knows your neighborhood well and has high reviews.

2. Sign Agreements

Once you find your agent and you agree on price and terms, you can sign the listing agreement with your Realtor and begin working on completing all necessary Seller disclosures.

3. Prepare Home for Sale

This is the time to make any necessary repairs or improvements to your home, schedule a pre-sale inspection (if required), declutter and clean, and consider home staging – if applicable.

4. Market Your Home

Your agent will schedule a photographer to capture the features of your home. Your agent will begin marketing your home as agreed upon in the Seller’s Consultation. Marketing your home can begin as soon as the agreement is signed.

5. Review and Sign Offer

Congratulations! An offer has come in on your home. You have the option of accepting, countering, or declining the offer. Once signed, the escrow process begins. Disclosures will be sent out and inspections will take place.

6. Closing

Your agent will keep you updated on the status of the transaction. Once the Buyers will conduct their final walk through, funding and recording will take place. It’s officially time to move! Congratulations on the sale of your home!
